Editorial & Accuracy Policy
Purpose
This policy describes how we aim to keep ToolQuarter's tools and explanations accurate, clear and useful.
Choosing formulas and methods
We aim to use standard, well-established formulas and methods, and to explain the method on each tool page so you can see how a result is produced.
Testing
We test our calculation logic with automated tests and check that tools behave as expected before changes are published.
Examples and edge cases
We include worked examples and consider edge cases, such as invalid input, zero values, leap days and time-zone changes, and we show clear messages when an input cannot be calculated.
Sources and standards
Where a tool relies on a recognised standard or convention, such as unit conversion factors or time zone data, we aim to use reliable sources and describe the approach on the tool page.
Reviewing changes
We review changes to tools and content before they go live, and re-check affected results when a tool is modified.
Corrections and user-reported issues
If you find an error in a calculation, formula or explanation, please email support@toolquarter.com, or use the Contact page. We review reports and, when an issue is confirmed, we aim to correct it.
Last-updated dates
Tool and policy pages show when they were last updated, so you can see how current the information is.
Translation and localization
We aim to translate navigation and information pages faithfully. Tool pages are currently in English; where a translation is not yet available, we show the English version.
Limitations
We do not claim that our tools are free from error. Please read our Disclaimer and verify important results independently.
